Application & Enrollment Information
Enrollment for new students is a two-step process:
- Complete an application for each new student. Once submitted, the application will be reviewed by the office and we will reach out with any additional questions or concerns we may have. An offer of acceptance if then sent via email with a link to create a family portal account and enroll your student at St. Bernard's School.
- Complete online enrollment forms to officially enroll students.
New students may begin applying in March for the following school year. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Please note that offers of acceptance for Pre-Kindergarten students will not be made until SLCSD determines UPK allocations and placements.
Kindergarten -- Fifth Grade
The St. Bernard’s School day is 8:00 AM to 2:20 PM.
Students are expected to be in school for the 8:00 AM bell and will be dismissed to the bus, parent pickup or the After School Program at 2:20 PM.
Children may arrive as early as 7:15 AM for Before Care. They must notify the principal in advance if attending Before Care. The drop off window for all other students is 7:40-8:00am.
Pre-Kindergarten
St. Bernard's School is thrilled to add a Pre-Kindergarten classroom to our 2023-2024 school year. Our Pre-K will be a full day with Before Care and After School Program available. Our Pre-K curriculum will be engaging for our youngest students. Students will build solid literacy and math foundations as well as explore science inquiries and social studies concepts. The classroom environment will enable students to develop a genuine love and respect for God, themselves, others, and the world in which they live. School readiness skill building will be in balance with creative and enriching play.
After School Program
St. Bernard’s School offers an After School Program for all students in Pre-K-5 at the school. The program runs from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM each school day. Tom Clark is the director and there are variety of assistance that help throughout the week.
Cost is $12.00 per day for the first in a family. Siblings are $10 per day. Payment is due on Friday of each week.
The students are offered the opportunity to spend time outside, play board games, and interact with their peers.
Only SBS students are eligible to attend the After School Program.
